Stephanie Westbrook
Stephanie Westbrook, 47, died on July 15, 2024, while held at the Crawford County Adult Detention Facility in Steelville, Missouri. The Crawford County Sheriff's Office said staff found her in medical distress in a holding cell during routine checks, and that she lost consciousness after first being awake and speaking with staff. She was pronounced dead at the facility. The Missouri State Highway Patrol's Division of Drug and Crime Control is investigating with the Crawford County Coroner's Office, and her cause and manner of death have not been determined.
