Stephanie Stephens, of Hattiesburg, died at Central Mississippi Hospital in Jackson in October 2006, after being taken there from a Rankin County correctional facility where she was held. Rankin County Coroner Jimmy Roberts said an autopsy would be performed to determine the cause of death. No cause or manner of death had been established when the report was published.
