Stephanie Feliz
Cirese LaBerge, who was held with Stephanie Feliz for more than a decade, remembered her as a young, pretty blonde who was full of life before she became despondent. Feliz, 34, died at the California Institution for Women in San Bernardino County, where she was held. The California Coalition for Women Prisoners said she hanged herself after several earlier attempts, and that she had asked for emergency mental health care the same day, according to letters from fellow prisoners.
