Stella Maxwell
Stella Maxwell, 18, was held at the Lemont jail in Illinois when, according to a Chicago dispatch, she and another young woman set fire to their clothing in an attempt to take their own lives. Firefighters broke down the jail doors to reach them and took them to a hospital in Joliet, where Stella Maxwell died. The account of the fire comes from the dispatch.
