Snap Terry
Snap Terry, 26, was held at the Fairfield county jail in Fairfield, Texas, in May 1922. According to The Associated Press, a mob of several hundred overpowered the sheriff and took him from the jail. United Press reported that the mob tied him to the seat of a cultivator in the square at Kirvin and burned him to death before a crowd of about 100.
