Slim
Slim was one of three men taken from the jail at Terra Amarilla, Colorado, by a mob, according to the Daily Republican, which reported the killings on October 29, 1881. The paper says the men were lynched on the Wednesday night before its report, which places the death on October 26, 1881. The mob killed him after taking him from the jail that held him. Whether the jail staff resisted, gave up the keys or handed the men over is not stated in the account.
