Siale Angilau
Siale Angilau was shot in a federal courtroom in Salt Lake City on April 21, 2014, during a trial, when a U.S. marshal fired several times into his chest. Reports say that as a witness was testifying, he got up and moved toward the witness, and the marshal shot him. He died at a local hospital. His defense attorney, Michael Langford, said the witness had a personal bias against Angilau and had tried to keep the witness from testifying. Langford also said Angilau treated the defense team with the utmost respect and that his loved ones were in his thoughts.
