Died in jail or a lockup
Sheri Parker
During a security check, a correctional officer at the Rock County Jail in Janesville found Sheri Parker, 45, unresponsive in the jail's medical unit, according to the sheriff's office. Janesville Fire Department paramedics tried to save her but were unsuccessful. An autopsy was scheduled for the following Sunday, and her cause and manner of death were still pending when the report was published.
