Sheila Prince
Sheila Prince, 52, died on April 8, 2026, at the Oklahoma County Detention Center in Oklahoma City, hours after she was taken into the jail. Her daughter, Mikala Prince, said her mother was deeply loved and was the light in every room and the life of the party. Jail officials said detention officers and medical staff found her in need of medical attention while distributing medication, and she was pronounced dead at a hospital. Authorities said the death is being treated as a homicide until an autopsy is completed, and the family said the jail did not notify them and they were left in the dark.
