Shawn Talbot
Shawn Talbot, 29, of Ladysmith, Wisconsin, died at the scene on June 27, 2008, when a private security van carrying people in custody crashed near El Dorado in south Arkansas while headed to Little Rock. The Arkansas State Police said the driver fell asleep at the wheel and that another guard grabbed the wheel and overcorrected, sending the van into a culvert where it rolled. Reports say the people in the back of the van were not secured. Whether the guards or the transport company faced questions about how the trip was carried out is not addressed in these accounts.
