Shawn Ney
Shawn Ney, 33, of Hoisington, had just finished nursing school, according to his wife's testimony. He died early on December 10, 2011, while held at the Barton County Jail. Barton County Sheriff Greg Armstrong confirmed the death, declined to give further details, and said it was not the result of an altercation. The Kansas Bureau of Investigation is investigating the death.
