Died in prison
Shawn McMillian
Shawn McMillian, 44, was held at the Eastern Oregon Correctional Institution in Pendleton. On a Sunday afternoon in early April 2016 he was taken from the prison to a local hospital for treatment, and he died unexpectedly the next morning. The Oregon Department of Corrections reported the death, and Oregon State Police are investigating its cause.
