Shawn D. Gibson
Shawn D. Gibson, 49, died in Clay County, Kentucky, after a traffic stop on North Highway 66 led to his being placed in the back seat of a Kentucky State Police patrol vehicle. The Kentucky State Police said he allegedly consumed drugs in the vehicle and overdosed. He was pronounced dead at AdventHealth in Manchester. An autopsy has been performed, its results are pending, and the investigation is ongoing.
