Shaun Greene
Shaun Greene, 39, of Glendora, lost consciousness and slipped from his wheelchair while eating lunch in the medical housing unit at West Valley Detention Center in Rancho Cucamonga on December 11, 2016. Deputies took him to Kaiser Permanente Medical Center in Fontana, where he died about an hour later. The San Bernardino County Sheriff's Department said the death appears medical-related, but the cause has not been determined and an autopsy and toxicology results are pending. The death has renewed concerns raised in a pending federal lawsuit about medical care at the county's jails.
