Shaun Boice
Shaun Boice, 37, died on July 28, 2024, in his cell at the Midland County Jail in Michigan, where he was being held. The sheriff's office said he was found unresponsive while staff were handing out breakfast and medication. Jail Capt. Jeff Derocher said the death is believed to have resulted from medical issues, and Sheriff Myron Greene said there was no use of force and that he may have been having an issue with withdrawal. Michigan State Police are investigating with the Midland County Medical Examiner's Office, and the cause of death is pending the autopsy.
