Died in jail or a lockup
Sharon Lee Watkins
Sharon Lee Watkins, 49, died on May 1, 2025, while held at the Multnomah County Inverness Jail in Portland, where she had been since April 28, 2025. The Multnomah County Sheriff's Office said jail staff found her unresponsive in her bunk during a morning head count. The East County Major Crimes Team and the Multnomah County Medical Examiner's Office are investigating, and the medical examiner will determine the cause and manner of death.
