Sharik Hassan Brown
Sharik Hassan Brown, 24, of Dothan, was held at the Jefferson County Jail in Alabama. On March 7, 2022, jail staff found him in a single-man cell and took him to UAB Hospital. He was pronounced dead there on March 30, 2022. The Jefferson County Coroner's Office said his injuries came from an apparent self-inflicted hanging, and an autopsy was scheduled. The Jefferson County Sheriff's Office is investigating the circumstances of his death.
