Shaqwan Warren
Shaqwan Warren, 33, of Macon, died in May 2026 after being held pretrial at the Houston County Sheriff's Office Detention Center in Georgia. Sheriff Matt Moulton said Warren had a medical emergency on Tuesday and died at a hospital on Thursday. The Macon Telegraph reported that Warren was released from the jail on Tuesday with medical problems, was taken to a local hospital where he became unresponsive, and was pronounced dead at another hospital on Wednesday afternoon. The Georgia Bureau of Investigation is investigating at the sheriff's office's request, and the autopsy is pending.
