Shannon Lee Cook
Shannon Lee Cook, 54, of Red Lake, died on September 23, 2023, at the Crow Wing County Jail in Brainerd, Minnesota. The Crow Wing County Sheriff's Office said deputies found her unresponsive in her bunk that morning and that she was pronounced dead at 9:19 a.m. The Morrison County Sheriff's Office is investigating, as it does for all in-custody deaths, and the sheriff's office said no foul play is suspected. Autopsy results and toxicology are still pending, so the cause and manner of her death have not been determined.
