Seth Alexander King
Seth Alexander King, 23, of Reidsville, was held at the Rockingham County Detention Facility in February 2021. Detention officers found that he had tried to end his life, and he was rushed to a hospital in the Triad area, where he died. Sheriff Sam Page said the death was one of three suicides at the Rockingham County Jail that month, and that the deaths prompted plans for more suicide-risk training and possibly more staff. The sheriff's office and the State Bureau of Investigation are both investigating the deaths.
