Sean Cassady
Sean Cassady, 29, died in February 2017 after being held at the Jennifer Road Detention Center in Annapolis, Maryland. The Anne Arundel County Police said he hanged himself on February 8, and he was taken off life support at Anne Arundel Medical Center on February 15. Police spokesperson Ryan Frashure said suicides in custody are very rare for the department and that staff cannot always prevent a determined person from self-harm.
