Scotty Morrow

Scotty Garnell Morrow, 52, was executed by lethal injection at Georgia Diagnostic and Classification Prison in Jackson on May 2, 2019, the Georgia Department of Corrections said. A witness described him as composed and contrite, and said he asked forgiveness from two families and gave a final statement. Before his death he thanked his own family for their support, and his final words were, "I love you all, God bless." The Georgia Supreme Court had unanimously denied a stay of execution earlier that day, and clemency was also denied.
