Scott Wood

Scott Edward Wood, 49, died on May 10, 2024, while held at Hutchinson Correctional Facility in Hutchinson, Kansas. The Kansas Department of Corrections said staff found him unresponsive in his cell. He was taken to a local hospital, where he was pronounced dead. The cause of death is pending an independent autopsy, and the Kansas Department of Corrections and the Kansas Bureau of Investigation are investigating.
