Scott Gustavson

Scott Gustavson, 58, died on July 6, 2021, while held at the Clark County Detention Center in Las Vegas. The Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department said correction officers were moving him to the transport area in the early morning when he complained of muscle pain. Other people held there later reported that he was not breathing, and the department said medical staff performed life-saving measures until an ambulance arrived. He was pronounced dead at UMC Trauma, and the Clark County Coroner's cause of death is pending the full autopsy.
