Scott Estevez, 64, was held at the Falkenburg Road Jail in Hillsborough County, Florida. The sheriff's office said he fell at the jail on May 8, 2023, and he was taken to Tampa General Hospital, where more serious health problems were found. The sheriff's office said he was pronounced dead there on May 10, 2023. The sheriff's office is investigating the death, and the cause is pending with the Medical Examiner's Office.
