Scott Eizember

Scott Eizember, 62, was executed by the state of Oklahoma in McAlester on Thursday, January 12, 2023. The Oklahoma Pardon and Parole Board had denied him clemency in December. Shortly before the execution, he sued after the Department of Corrections first refused to let his spiritual advisor join him in the execution chamber, a decision the department later reversed at the victims' family's request. The Associated Press reported the execution the same day.
