Santana Lebine
Santana Lebine, 34, of Lake Charles, died on August 24, 2020, while held at the Calcasieu Correctional Center. The Calcasieu Parish Sheriff's Office said she was found unresponsive in her cell on a Monday evening, after other people held in the same cell block found her and alerted deputies. Attempts to revive her failed, and medical personnel pronounced her dead. The sheriff's office said foul play is not suspected, and the Calcasieu Coroner has yet to determine the cause and manner of death.
