Sanford Frederick Proctor, 55, died at about 8:15 a.m. on Sunday, April 21, 2019, in the infirmary unit at High Desert State Prison in Indian Springs, Nevada, according to the Nevada Department of Corrections. The department announced his death in a release issued that Thursday. The Clark County coroner's office identified him, and an autopsy was to be scheduled. The department has not given a cause of death, and the manner of death is listed as pending.
