Samuel Scott Jr. was found dead at the Franklin County Jail in Mississippi on April 29, 2021. Franklin County Sheriff Tom Tindle said Mr. Scott hanged himself with a sheet. The Mississippi Bureau of Investigation is leading an investigation into his death.
