Samuel Prieto
Samuel Prieto, 58, had been held at the federal medical center in Springfield since September 2019. The Federal Bureau of Prisons said he tested positive for COVID-19 on October 26, 2020, and was taken to a local hospital, where staff pronounced him dead on November 4. The Bureau reported his death as one of four among people at the facility since October 31, during a COVID-19 outbreak there.
