Samuel H. Bowers
Samuel H. Bowers, 82, died at the Mississippi State Penitentiary hospital at Parchman in the Mississippi Delta on a Sunday in November 2006, according to state officials. Mississippi Department of Corrections spokeswoman Tara Booth said he died of cardio-pulmonary arrest at about 11:30 a.m. Officials classified the death as natural.
