Samuel Carson, Jr.
Samuel Carson, Jr., 49, of St. George, died on January 29, 2025, at the L.C. Knight Detention Center in Dorchester County, South Carolina. The Dorchester County Sheriff's Office said detention deputies found him unresponsive that afternoon. Coroner Paul Brouthers has not released a cause or manner of death, and an autopsy was scheduled. The South Carolina Law Enforcement Division is investigating the death.
