Samual Byrd
Samual Byrd, 44, was from Hamilton, Alabama. He died at the Pickens County Jail on April 3, 2022. The sheriff said no foul play was suspected, and the State Bureau of Investigation and an autopsy were looking into how he died. His was the jail's second death under investigation in only a few months, after Glenn Foster died there in December.
