Sammi Eason, 65, was being held at the Fulton Reception and Diagnostic Center in Missouri when he was taken to a hospital in Columbia, where he was pronounced dead on September 5, 2026. The Missouri Department of Corrections announced the death and said an autopsy will be performed.
