Samantha Gatlin
Samantha Gatlin, 25, of the Foxworth community, died on December 11, 2012, while held at the Marion County Jail in Mississippi. According to the sheriff's department, jail nursing staff and an ambulance crew tried to help her before she was taken to Marion General Hospital, where she was pronounced dead. The cause of death had not been determined, and an autopsy was ordered. The Mississippi Department of Investigation and the sheriff's department were both investigating.
