Samantha Benson
Samantha Benson, 32, of Conway, died on November 4, 2022, at the J. Reuben Long Detention Center in Horry County, South Carolina, where she was held. She was found unresponsive in her cell and was pronounced dead at Conway Medical Center. The Horry County Coroner's Office has scheduled an autopsy, and the South Carolina Law Enforcement Division is conducting an inquiry into her death. One report says a preliminary internal review found no foul play, and the cause and manner of death have not yet been determined.
