Ryan Rust
Ryan Rust died on December 21, 2018, while held at an Alabama prison. According to a ruling by U.S. District Judge Myron Thompson, he was found in his segregation cell with a belt around his neck, tied to a cell window bar, and the judge described the death as a suicide. The ruling says he had been placed on suicide watch in November, but after coming off that status he had no follow-up appointments.
