Ruben Trevino
Ruben Trevino, 54, died on November 4, 2025, while held at the Grant County Jail in Ephrata, Washington. The Grant County Coroner's Office, through Coroner Craig Morrison, said he died of peritonitis caused by a perforated duodenal ulcer and classified the manner of death as natural. The Grant County Sheriff's Office said a man of his age was found unresponsive in a cell for people in crisis that morning and that staff could not resuscitate him, and it said the cause would be determined by autopsy. An independent investigative team has been asked to review the case.
