Royal Hayes
Royal Hayes, 81, died on May 22, 2018, at an outside hospital while held at San Quentin State Prison in California. He had been on death row there for nearly 32 years. The California Department of Corrections and Rehabilitation said the cause of death was unknown pending an autopsy.
