Ronny McGowan
Ronny McGowan, 32, died on October 6, 2020, while held in an Alabama state prison. The Alabama Department of Corrections said he developed COVID-19 symptoms while incarcerated and was taken to a local hospital the same day, where he died. The department said an autopsy showed he had tested positive for the coronavirus when he died.
