Ronnie Keith Williams, 62, died on April 25, 2025, while held at Avon Park Correctional Institution, a Florida state prison in Polk County. On April 23, he began complaining of shortness of breath in his cell and was taken to a hospital, then moved to a second hospital, where he died. The District 9 and 25 Office of the Medical Examiner ruled the death natural, caused by cardiogenic shock from a ruptured aortic root aneurysm, with asthma contributing. The Florida Department of Corrections also recorded the manner of death as natural.
