Ronchetto
Ronchetto, a 27-year-old man, was being taken to the Huerfano County jail in Walsenburg, Colorado, in March 1895 when masked men stopped the prisoner wagon at the Bear Creek bridge and fired on it. The Lusk Herald reported that he was wounded and left by the mob, and a coroner's inquest was underway when that account was written. The San Francisco Call reported that he was then killed in Walsenburg during the night of March 12 to 13, and that he was unmarried and had declared his intention to become an American citizen. A coroner's jury found the deaths were caused by persons unknown. Accounts of the number of other men killed by the mob that night are garbled in the surviving text and cannot be confirmed.

The coroner's jury found that Ronchetto was killed by persons unknown after masked men fired on the prisoner wagon at Bear Creek bridge, and the Deseret Evening News wire dispatch reported that a mob took Italian men from local officers in Walsenburg and killed them.
