Ronald T. Zimmerman
Ronald T. Zimmerman, 62, died at the Laramie County jail in Cheyenne, Wyoming, on December 29, 2015. He was found on the floor of his cell in the early hours and pronounced dead about fifteen minutes later by medical staff. The Laramie County Sheriff's Department said he apparently hanged himself with the cord from a CPAP machine prescribed by a doctor, and that he had never been on suicide watch. The sheriff's office also said deputies' cell checks had been properly scheduled, and autopsy results were not yet available when the report was published.
