Ronald Jason Ball
Ronald Jason Ball, 47, of Woodruff, died while held in a South Carolina jail in Spartanburg County. He was declared brain-dead on the afternoon of Tuesday, June 20, 2017. The Spartanburg County coroner, Rusty Clevenger, said there was no immediate indication Ball was killed by someone else, and the coroner will investigate the cause of death after organ donation decisions are made. The State Law Enforcement Division is also investigating.
