Ronald J. Morgan
Ronald J. Morgan, 85, of Lehi, was held at the Utah County Jail when he became ill with what officials called medical problems. He was taken to Utah Valley Hospital in Provo, where he died on October 7, 2023. A neighbor of 99 years described him as a gentle, kind-hearted man who often visited her every day to check that she was okay. The Utah County Sheriff's Office said he remained in its custody at the hospital and is treating his death as an in-custody death, with the Officer Involved Critical Incident team investigating.
