Ronald Frederick Apgar
Ronald Frederick Apgar, 39, died suddenly on February 19, 2021, while held at Central Mississippi Correctional Facility in Rankin County, Mississippi. The Mississippi Department of Corrections said it opened an internal investigation into the death and its response time, and it banned an employee from the facility. Commissioner Burl Cain said the findings would be given to the Rankin County District Attorney. The cause and manner of death are pending an autopsy.
