Ronald Eugene Blighton Jr. was 40 years old when he died on January 18, 2007, while held in the booking area of the Morgan Hill Police Department in Morgan Hill, California. Police have not described the medical distress he experienced before he became unresponsive. The Santa Clara County Coroner's Office has not released a cause or manner of death, saying it is waiting on toxicology results that could take up to 12 weeks.
