Romolo Toscano, 55, died while held at the Hidalgo County Adult Detention Center in Texas. According to the Hidalgo County Sheriff's Office, detention staff noticed he was unwell and he was taken to a hospital, where he was pronounced dead. The sheriff's office said he had been taken to a local hospital periodically for ongoing health issues. The cause and manner of his death have not been determined, and the Hidalgo County Sheriff's Office and the Texas Rangers are investigating.
