Romeo Reome III
Romeo Reome III, 53, of Brattleboro, was held at the Southern State Correctional Facility in Springfield, Vermont. Early on March 22, 2023, he was found unresponsive in his cell, and he was pronounced dead at 3:19 a.m. Vermont State Police said he had numerous health problems and had been treated at Springfield Hospital before returning to the prison. The cause and manner of death remain pending an autopsy by the Vermont Chief Medical Examiner's Office.
