Romano Ferraro
Romano Ferraro, 89, a former Catholic priest, died on January 21, 2023 while held in Massachusetts state custody at the Lemuel Shattuck Hospital Correctional Unit in Boston. Samantha Higgins, a spokeswoman for the Massachusetts Department of Correction, did not give a cause of death when the report was published. The Bergen Record reported that the cause of his death was not immediately available at that time. Survivors interviewed for the story said his death did not change their lives.
